About Hot Springs Route
Hot Springs Route is a directory of hot springs built around one idea: the details that decide a trip should be correct. How hot is the water, does it cost anything, can you drive up or is it an eight-mile hike, do you need a reservation, what do you wear.
Most hot spring information online is scattered across old forum posts, outdated blogs and pages that copy each other. We collect details from primary sources such as operators, the US Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, national and state parks and public datasets, check them, and present them the same way for every spring, so you can compare places quickly.
What we do not do: we do not publish reviews, we do not make health claims about mineral water, and we do not accept payment to change what a page says.
